Then join us for our vegan wellness workshop where we will teach you the health benefits of a vegan lifestyle, empowering you to take control of your health. We will be providing up-to-date information about how nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle choices impact health, longevity and quality of life. Plus, enjoy samples our vegan instructors will teach you to prepare.

We are happy to welcome Aimbriel Lasley (aka "Black Mama Vegan" and the mother of four) to our workshop this year! As she explains: "I began my vegan journey in 2015 when meat became my nemesis. Our family was already moving in the direction of using less meat, having several “meatless” days and ditching the processed stuff. Additionally, I considered myself a holistic “practitioner” using herbs, oils, and teas as medicine versus the traditional western medicine culture.
"Fast forward...I became vegan February 10, 2016 and haven’t looked back since. The kids and my husband were still vegetarian for a few months but eventually, we converted everyone's diet.
The benefits we have seen in ourselves, our children and other people in our circle have been amazing. If you are willing to listen and take the journey I'm willing to share and support!"
Classes fill up quickly! Limited seating available. Come learn some new recipes, and eat some vegan food samples for lunch. Our spotlight vegan restaurant this event is Green Leaf Juice located near Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis! Our spotlight grocery store is Georgetown Market on the northwest side of Indianapolis!
