Combines clinical massage techniques with the application of CBD-infused products.
Service Description
CBD extracts have been shown, in scientific studies, to reduce the intensity of muscle spasms; it also helps to alleviate inflammation, reduce pain, improve blood pressure, improve the health and appearance of skin, and aid in muscle recovery. When regular CBD oil is applied directly onto the skin, it can activate receptors in the skin and surrounding tissues—providing spot relief for soreness in the immediate area. According to a 2012 study published in the Journal of Experimental Medicine, CBD also binds to alpha-3 glycine receptors which can "significantly suppress chronic inflammatory and neuropathic pain without causing apparent analgesic tolerance.” At The Indiana Holistic Center, we have already seen significant pain-relieving results using the CBD cream with our clients. This service includes the use of one "half-ounce" of CBD cream in the therapy session.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Your time is valuable, and so is ours. We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice for any appointment changes or cancellations. Missed appointments or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in a 100% charge of the service fee. We know emergencies and illnesses can come up unexpectedly. If you are experiencing a fever, known infection, or symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your session, please reschedule. Your health and well-being (and that of others) is a priority. If you experience an emergency with less than 24 hours before your appointment, please let us know and we can reschedule. Also, if you have poison ivy, or any other blistering, please contact us 24 hours in advance and we will find another appointment time for you. Please note: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to forfeit your session out of respect for the schedule and other clients. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
